The Mirna Bridge is located between the Nova Vas and Višnjan interchanges of the A9 motorway in Istria, Croatia, spanning the Mirna River and the wide Mirna River valley. It is being built next to a twin viaduct to improve the viability of the area.
This double-beam viaduct has a constant radius allowing for its launching from both sides, meeting then in the middle. Each launching area, approximately 100 meters long, is equipped with Maeg’s own gantry cranes for the activities of assembly, welding and painting. Once ready, each segment is launched leaving space to continue the fabrication of the following segment.
